Mark has 40 years’ experience working in the insurance and reinsurance industry.

He started work in an actuarial department for a life assurance company in Holborn before moving to the City to work in a property underwriting room where he first attained an authority to write international, UK and European business.

He has remained a successful property underwriter in the London market since then, writing for both Lloyd’s syndicates as well as London based companies including a Paris based MGA that also had representation in Lloyd’s.

His underwriting experience covers most occupations, trades, and territories with an emphasis on Central and South America in the past ten years.

He has overseen property referrals worldwide and has also written underwriting Strategy for branch offices in Europe and South America.

Victor is responsible for underwriting Property, Engineering and Energy business worldwide, but with a development focus in Latin America (including Brazil) and the Caribbean.

With over 30 years of industry experience in insurance and reinsurance, Victor is known for developing relationships. He has served as a multi-line Underwriter and Head of Reinsurance operations PC&Life for LATAM and the Caribbean, and has worked with companies such as Saint Paul Re, SCOR, AIG and Transatlantic Reinsurance Company (TRC).

Marco is a Senior Underwriter at Specialty MGA, specialising in Property, Energy, and Construction.

With over 25 years of experience, including 5 years specialising in Renewable Energy with PERse, Marco brings more than two decades of focus on Latin American Reinsurance markets, including at Assicurazioni Generali, Redbridge Property & Casualty MGA supported by Lloyd’s, and PERse International MGA. He has experience in loss prevention and technical risk analysis thanks to a strong technical foundation as a Mechanical Engineer, with 15 years of hands-on experience in energy and engineering consulting.

Marco holds a master in Mechanical Engineering from Universita’ di Trieste, Italy.
